It was one of those days where, had I been asked what we did, I would say, “Oh nothing really.”
But in reality, we did a lot of somethings.
We swam with uncles.
We did a lot of jumping.
We did cookie making with grandma.
We picked out the biggest spoon in the drawer and helped ourselves to heaping mounds of cookie dough.
We ate said cookie dough while watching Giada liquor up her house guests.
We acquired “pool eyes.”
We rode our bikes.
We watched the sunlight turn “golden.”
And played with our pet ants.
We told secrets on the driveway.
And oh so graciously posed for pictures.
Sometimes the nothing days are the best days. Only thing missing was Daddy!
