Five months...

Lil' Sis turned 5 months old yesterday. Where does the time go? She had her late, LATE 4 month appt today.

Her stats: 15.6 lbs 70th % (birth- 6.12 lbs)
25 3/4" 75% (birth-20")

She obliged in taking a few pictures.

"Please Mom, this is not my good side."

Behind the scenes.

Then of course she remembered she had 3 shots today and the memory of the pain was too much.

In conclusion, Lil' Sis is a wonderful baby. She's a great eater, an OK sleeper but a very happy, healthy, intelligent little morsel that you just want to squeeze.

My appetite....

...for Ridiculously-staged-reality-drama has been satiated every Monday night thanks to the Hills. I realize I am not a tweeny teeny bopper anymore but I still love this show. I also realize it's as far from "reality" as The Real World. Oh well. These people are famous because of where they live and for being attractive. That's it. With the exception of Spencer and Heidi.

The Hills
Stretching this picture out has depixalated their faces but you get the idea.

Heidi USED to be attractive, now she's morphed into some blonde, playboy, noseless, plastic freakazoid. Above was the normal, pretty Heidi, below is HORSE Heidi.

EDIT: There WAS a picture of Spencer Pratt here but my blog ate it. Apparently he's SO ugly that my blog couldn't bear having his face on here.

I dedicated as little space on my blog as possible for this psycho. In the words of Joel McHale, "creepy flesh-colored beard" guy is my least favorite person on T.V. And David Hasslehoff is still, unfortunately on television.

Anyway I live vicariously through Lauren and her pals. Not because they they're famous for no reason but because they are ALWAYS eating sushi. No joke, every time they go out to eat at night it's sushi. This makes me jealous. I guess when you're single and made of money that kind of thing IS reality. Sigh.

So am I alone in being pulled into their stupid drama every week? I hope not. Even my husband came to bed last Monday (I was already in bed due to the wretched stomach flu in my previous post) and said, "I decided I really don't like Lo. " Then he paused and said, "I was watching the show and she really started to bug me, then I became more irritated because I started actually getting INTO the show." That's my man.

*WHINE*

I'm soooo sick today I can't stand it. Moms aren't supposed to get sick. How is one supposed to take care of the little ones? I have the stomach flu and it's been really, really crappy. And then nursing full time on top of that? I'm so tired I can't even see straight. I guess getting up at 3am and puking your guts out will do that.

Anyway, I know no one likes to hear complaints but I just need to give a shout out to my wonderful husband. I know I talked about him in my last post but this deserves mentioning. He took off work to take care of me and the girls. Actually "Nee Nee" took Diva for the day so props to her as well. He has been waiting on me hand and foot, cleaning, doing laundry and making sure I need what I need. He takes the baby every other minute I'm not feeding her. Thanks so much honey! I love you!

And I'm sure people are asking "Well why are you blogging if you feel like crap?" Because I can only take so much lying on the couch watching random Olympic sports.

I really have such a great family, my family I grew up with, my in-laws and now my little family of four.

So thanks to Nee Nee, thank you to Diva and thank you to my mom for offering to help as well. I'm SeRiOUslY so BLeSSed!!!

Four four four four four.....

I love the number four. Really I do. I was born in the 4th year in 1980, 4th month and I'm the 4th child in my family. So it only seems fitting that I get to blog about our 4 year anniversary, which coincidentally was the 14th of August! And at the risk of sounding seriously so blessed, I also get to blog about my awesomely awesome hubby! Four years ago today we were married in the LA temple. It was an amazing day of course. He is everything I ever wanted in a husband. He is smart, funny, athletic, good-looking and gets along wonderfully with my family. Over the course of 4 years I have also found out he is an even better father and my best friend. I am forever in debt to my friend Trina who originally set us up. I'll be honest and say at first I wasn't so sure about Hubby. He was too polite, too kind (seriously he was.) The more I talked to him the funnier he was and every girl loves to laugh. Then I found out he was an awesome surfer and snowboarder and that sealed the deal.

Ahhh, so young and in love...and kidless.

He gave me a lot of piggy-back rides. Apparently I hated walking.

Engagement pic

We do this a lot, smush in the doorway and talk about our day.

And so last night we headed out for some fabulous sushi; our ultimate favorite food which Hubby introduced to me!

Notice the beautiful flowers!

Four years and two beautiful girls later and I am still so in love with him. He still makes me laugh and he's still so ruggedly handsome! I love you hun!

Sorry....I must

Anyone who knows me, knows I'm somewhat of a spelling Nazi. Now, this does not mean I'm perfect at spelling because I'm not. However I WILL look up something that I don't know how to spell so that I can spell it correctly. I "forgive" a lot of spelling mistakes but there is one that makes me cringe every.single.time. Definately.

NO. People, there is no A in that word. I want to scream every time I see it, and I see it A LOT! Why? Why would anybody think that there is an A in definitely? I could maybe understand if you're speaking with a southern accent but other than that I just don't get it.

So, for future reference; it is definitely D-E-F-I-N-I-T-E-L-Y. Now I'm looking at this word so much it doesn't look right now matter HOW you spell it, but you get the idea.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Poop

Our internet is not working. I'm posting this from my in-laws. We've also been gone for 5 days in Utah for a renunion. As soon as I can, I'll post pics but who knows when we will have internet. I need my computer tech savvy brother to get his buns over here and figure it out!
