Sans the little wheels

bike1-1  bike3-1

I love peer pressure.  You know…the good kind.  We just so happened to move next door (literally next.door.) to Diva’s current BFF. They are in the same class at school, go to the same church and play every single day together.  It’s so great.  I love it.  A lot.  And when her BFF saw that Diva had her ears pierced, she begged her mom to get hers done as well (thank goodness the offer had already been on the table…she was just too nervous.)

And when Diva saw that A (her bff) rode her bike without training wheels, she kindly requested that Daddy teach her to do the same.  Please note that I attempted this a few months ago and it ended in…well…Diva-ness.

She had only one major spill.  Straight into a motor home.  After a few tears and a few band-aids she got right back on and has been riding like a pro ever since!  Now she eats, sleeps and breathes bike riding.

That's awesome. I keep telling Ben we need to bite the bullet and get those training wheels off Ky's bike but he's so happy with riding a scooter and none of his friends are riding bikes so there's no peer pressure right now.
