Two posts!

Yes I know I just posted but I wanted to get some pictures up here. Plus, I'm taking advantage of some alone time. Diva is at her "NeeNee's" house (Mother in-law).

The other day Diva got into my makeup....big surprise, it's an everyday occurrence. However this time she found my mascara and proceeded to her "hiding spot" which is the back of our closet. I gave her about a minute and went in to get her. She knows what she's doing is wrong so I don't even have to say anything, she immediately gets up and gives whatever she has back to me and then takes off in the other direction as to avoid any type of punishment I might give her. Only this time my cruel form of punishment was to show her in the mirror how silly she looked. This sort of backfired because one look in the mirror and she was PETRIFIED by how she looked. It was as if she saw a huge scary monster. So of course being the loving, comforting parents we are, we snapped some pics.

Above is her running away after looking at herself.

Containing her so we can get a good shot. Oh and please note the lovely permanent marker on her pants. I promise I watch my child. Although my sister might disagree.

Forcing her to look in the mirror. I'm such a good mother.

I hope this means she'll never want to be some goth teenager that wears combat boots.

And I thought I'd throw in an obligatory cute baby bathtub picture for fun.

April fool huh? Good one. I was agonizing over it and both my kids were born on their DUE DATES!! Good luck hangin in there!! And yeah, I'm glad the mirror trick worked with Cadence bc it sure didn't with Isaac. I have to lock my bedroom door often. Just be glad the permenent marker isn't on your carpet, piano, and walls, and couches.

That is so funny, the exact same thing happened with Jett yesterday. You wouldv'e thought getting into Mommy's make-up was strictly a girl thing. My mom showed him what he looked like in the mirror with mascara on his face and it worked like a charm. He didn't like to be so messy. Hopefully the scare factor will keep them away from our mascara! lol

That's too funny! Clark would also freak. Hmmmmm...sounds like maybe I need to encourage him to play with my makeup, just to see what he does!! And she's so dang cute in the tub. Hooray for joining the blogosphere!! :)

Ha ha ha!!! See, this is why you've needed a blog--to share with the world what life is like with Cadence Marie Bingham. How funny! And very cute, too.

Hah! Cadence is too funny. I can't wait to see how this next little girl turns out. Maybe she'll see her sister's antics and decide not to be such a princess.

Oh yeah, and I think you really need to find a new place for your permanet markers. Perhaps in the garbage? Or are you waiting until little Maya is tattooed from head to toe?

I wish that trick worked with Hailey. She thinks she looks so beautiful with makeup on. Cadence is a doll!
