Every week I make bread. Store bought bread now tastes like cardboard compared to my slices of heaven.
Grinding the bones to make our bread.
Wheat kernels turn into flour. Magic!
Ingredients! (uh yeah, plus the flour)
Using my mom's handy dandy dough mixer. Round and round we go! (It even kneads it for you!)
A tiny-handed taste test.
It's alive!!
*shhhh...they're sleeping*
Where they reach their highest potential
Awww it's like a little family.(Lean close, you can almost smell the freshly baked goodness)
Voila! Not perfect but that's just the way I like them.
(Kinda like my kids.)

Sorry girls its a secret Crockett family recipe. Kidding!
Carly you forgot to mention how incredibly good 100% whole wheat bread is for your brain and body.
Thanks for making my bread for me today daughter.
I'd love a recipe too!
Look at you, you little domestic Diva! Your making the rest of us look bad, or maybe just me!
Looks Good!!!
Sigh. Jealous of your access to the wheat grinder, the wheat and the mixer. Oh, and the mother. My bread just doesn't turn out quite as good.
You know my birthday is coming up and I'm pretty sure it's completely possible to mail bread. What's up with taunting us with this delicious bread and not giving us a recipe? Not that I have a grinder....but later this summer I will be home and I think I'm going to need to learn how to make this.
look at those pics- you need a food blog!
Ha ha, I was thinking this post was very Our Best Bite-ish.
Awww...I hope you didn't think I was trying to copy you!
But then again to be compared to your blog Sara is a pretty nice compliment! :)
Home made bread is the best, I've been making my own for a couple of weeks and will never go back as well it is sooooo delicious!!
