Pete and Repeat

5 things I wish I never had to say again but know I am doomed to repeat over and over:

"Leave her alone!"

"Do you need to go potty?"

"Just relax!" or "Chill out!"

"Ughhhh!!"

"Why don't you listen?!!!"

If anybody has tips on how to make a 3 year-old listen then by all means....TELL ME!! Sometimes I'm sick of hearing my own voice.

  1. I don't know why you're having such a hard time. Diego listens every single time I tell him to do something, no questions asked. I never ever have to repeat myself.

LOL. Yeah right. If you find out the answer, please let me know, so I can stop saying things like, "Talk like a big boy" 100 times a day.

  2. Yeah, that's just what three year olds do. And Spencer has learned as well. I say, "CHILL DUDE!" probably 90 times a day, to either/both child(ren). It's lovely.

  3. This made ma lol! Literally. I am always telling Will to chill out, and the potty question, yeah, I think I'll be asking that for WAY to many years (better than changing a diaper usually).

  4. Sorry, no tips. It comes with the age! If I really want Isaac to listen I have to kneel down in front of him, put my hands on his shoulders, turn his face towards me, and say his name.
